April 2018 sees us head across the North Sea for a series of gigs in the Netherlands and Germany. We will be performing tracks from our new album, The Gift, as well as some old favourites where time allows. Please contact the venues directly for details and tickets.
This concert will be in the Martin Luther-Saal, St. Viktor’s Church in Schwerte, organised by Joanna Scott Douglas.

July 2018 sees Stewart and Frank heading out for a short tour of the UK, visiting some wonderful Sacred Spaces in which to perform their music. They will be performing tracks from their new album, The Gift, as well as some old favourites.

Some Pay-what-you-can tickets are available for U18s and local residents (LS9, 14, 15). Reserve your ticket and pay on the door.
There is an opportunity for Stewart to offer a adult workshop on Fiddle Technique from 2.30 – 3.45 pm on that afternoon (Weds 12th July). This would be free for concert ticket holders, or £10 (or the Pay-as-you-can price if eligible). Please get in touch to show your interest – must be booked in advance.
There may also be a mixed instrument Youth workshop (4.15 – 5.30 pm) for intermediate/advanced players based on repertoire, led by Stewart & Frank. Please complete the interest form on Chapel FM’s website.

Grace Smith Music will be teaching alongside Stewart on our Zoom calls, and will be introducing a lovely Shetland jig as our new live tune.We are also delighted to announce that Chris Meredith will be teaching with Stewart on our Saturday Workshop in Wylam on 11th May. 🎧🎻🎹 Our next set of Zoom workshops is this weekend, on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th April. Each workshop can be booked individually, and all will be available on-demand after the weekend. Book now on the website!There will be lots of favourite tunes with harmonies and chords provided for the Friday evening play-along session. All instruments are welcome, and alternate clefs or keys for transposing instruments can be provided on request. Then on Saturday in the fiddle workshops, we'll be looking at a fabulous north east tune by Geroge Mitchell of the Cheviot Ranters, call Geordie's Rant, in the morning. In the afternoon, it will be the turn of Shrewsbury Lasses, one of the classic country dance tunes of the English repertoire. Full resources including audio files and a worksheet are provided.
