Yule Sea (Frankie Cleeve)

Frankie Cleeve, the composer of this tune, is a good friend and fiddler living in north London. As well as having an unfortunate addiction to puns, Frankie has a fine ear for a tune. She is also a fabulously rhythmic player, particularly when playing jigs. She taught this tune at some workshops in Wales and it immediately became one of my favourites. It gets played all year round, but never more so than during the Yuletide festivities.
