What better way to recommence activities after the summer break than with the Fiddle Foundations course at the beginning of September. Join Stewart in the beautiful surroundings of Rydal Hall in Ambleside, for a weekend of fabulous fiddle tuition. This is a great opportunity to spend time looking in-depth at the “how” to play, rather than the “what” to play. For standard level fiddle players and above, this enjoyable yet intensive course gives lots of food for thought, and you will leave with practical exercises and techniques that are relevant to all the tunes you already play, as well as a few new tunes! There are just a couple of places left!
The weekend runs from 3.00 pm Friday to 3.00 pm on Sunday and the course fee of £430 includes two nights in a single occupancy bedroom, all meals and daytime refreshments, two full days of fiddle tuition, two evening sessions and all teaching resources. Sheet music and mp3 files of the tunes are sent out in advance, and recordings made on the course are sent to you afterwards.
