Tyneside Fiddle Alliance are hosting a concert which will be A Spring Celebration of Northumbrian Music, and will be joined the by The Northumbrian Ranters.
The concert will be in St George’s Church, Jesmond on Saturday 14th March and will provide a feast of traditional music from Northumberland and beyond. The Northumbrian Ranters are a fantastic group of young musicians who meet regularly to rehearse in Morpeth. They will be joining us off the back of a wonderful evening with Alistair Anderson in Alnwick on 29th Feb, performing Estuary a piece Alistair wrote for the band a couple of years ago.
The evening promises to be full of energy with a variety of traditional tunes from both groups.
All tickets £5. Doors open 6.30 pm.
