The annual festival of Northumberland’s traditional music and culture this year remembers the Town Hall architect, Sir John Vanbrugh, and marks the 300th anniversary of his death. It will be a real treat to welcome back Ray Alexander as the great man, and I’m delighted to be able to provide a musical contribution to his presentation. As ever, I’m also anticipating a Saturday afternoon of fun and fabulous music as TFA joins friends in local community bands for the competitions.
