Frank & I had a fab time playing at Folkest in northern Italy earlier this summer, where we were joined (and frankly upstaged) by Frank’s two sons, Euan and Lewis, for a couple of sets of tunes. The boys also wowed audiences with their own duo performances. Frank was able to bask in a father’s reflected glory but I was reduced to roadie and odd-job man! Curses on the young and talented!! A big thank you to all the team at Folkest. They do a fantastic job putting on concerts for the Friuli region and provide wonderful hospitality for the artists. The festival has been going forty-odd years. Long may it continue.
