DESCRIPTION:Calling all advanced fiddle players!\n This course is for proficient players with good to high technical competence\, who are comfortable with their instruments and repertoire. The pace of teaching is faster than on standard courses\, we explore key signatures with more sharps and flats\, practise more complex bowing patterns\, delve deeper into stylistic considerations and play at dance speed.\n\nJoin Stewart in the beautiful surroundings of Rydal Hall in Ambleside\, for a weekend of fabulous fiddle tuition. Learn some exciting tunes with lots of tips and techniques for playing them with appropriate style and groove. Improve your fingering accuracy and dexterity\, and practise varied bowing patterns which can be applied to all of your favourite tunes.\n\nThe weekend runs from 3.00 pm Friday to 3.00 pm on Sunday and the course fee of £430 includes two nights in a single occupancy bedroom\, all meals and daytime refreshments\, two full days of fiddle tuition\, two evening sessions and all teaching resources.
