DESCRIPTION:2026 Block 4 Online \n\nWeds 10th June – 8th July\, with an optional play-along session on Weds 15th July.\n£75 \n\n\n\n2026 Block 4 Online \n\nA five week course of fully-online fiddle tuition\, accessible on Zoom and YouTube from anywhere and at any time.\nIn-depth sets of Video Tutorials\, which include elements of technique\, tunes taught by the phrase and a detailed look at bowing\, ornamentation or stylistic interpretation.\nWednesday evening live Zoom calls\, 6.45 – 8.30 pm\, including Fiddle Practice and Tune Learning in the Zoom workshop\, plus playthroughs of previous tunes which form our core repertoire.\nRecordings of all Zoom calls available for catch-up on demand.\n\nNEFS 2026 Block 4 will run from Weds 10th June – 8th July\, with an optional play-along session on Weds 15th July. Stewart Hardy and Grace Smith will be teaching live on Zoom with Fiddle Practice and building our repertoire in the second half. \nWe also have a new video tutorial from the wonderful Kevin Lees – it is so good to be working with Kevin again\, and we always look forward to his teaching. \nThe Online block runs for five weeks\, with live Zoom calls on Wednesday evenings. These are also available as recordings on-demand\, and video tutorials are published weekly for you to work through at your own pace. \nCost £75 for full access to materials.

DESCRIPTION:We are very excited to be holding another NEFS Summer Workshop Weekend on Sat 4th and Sun 5th July. Both days will be taught by Stewart Hardy and Grace Smith\, and we will be based throughout in Riding Mill Parish Hall. We had such a fabulous weekend last year and are so looking forward to seeing folk in person again. \nWe are also delighted that our fabulous friends in local fiddle quartet\, Bottle Bank Band\, have agreed to share their music with us on the Saturday evening.
