This is a very popular rant (despite its name) and is often partnered with The Morpeth Rant. It is a great favourite of Northumbrian pipers and is usually played in sessions in the key of G… but it also fits like a glove and drives for the fiddle in the key of A. This download provides notation in both keys, as well as three different suggestions for bowing patterns. The audio files are also provided in both keys and at five different speeds in each, so you can play along and increase your speed as you feel comfortable
